Hi. My name is Kao Urata. I’m 18 years old. I have lived in Gotsu in Shimane for 18 years. When I was young, I watched "Kagura". Then I like "Kagura" very much. The west of Shimane is very famous for "Kagura". So in the west of Shimane, "Kagura" is often held in a lot of festivals, autumn festivals and school festivals and so on. In autumn festival, “Kagura” is held all the night. I go to watch it and enjoy it very very much.
By the way, when I was in High school, I belonged to Softball club. I like baseball, so I decided to belong to this club. Watching softball game is very very fun!! So, I did many tasks for the players as a manager. There were a lot of difficult things. But thanks to this club, I could enjoy high school life.
Now I’m a student of University of Shimane. I don’t belong to any club. So, I have a lot of free time. I’m thinking that I’d like to do many volunteer activities. And, when I was in high school, I was not good at English. But, main language of this university is English. So, I want high level skill of English.
Thank you for reading!
I don’t know about Seattle at all. Please tell me a lot of things about Seattle.
Hi Kao, I looked at where Gotsu is on a map and saw it is on the ocean. It must be very beautiful there. I am from a city in Alaska that is also on the ocean, and I miss it there when I am at school. Even though Seattle is on Puget Sound there are not many quiet places to view it in the city.
ReplyDeleteI am not familiar with Kagura, but it sounds interesting, and must be a lot of fun at festivals.
Hi Kao! Very nice to meet you. My name is Trey.
ReplyDeleteKagura sounds interesting! I cannot say I am all too familiar with it, but from what I hear from you it sounds like a really fun show. You're lucky to now live in the city famous for the show you love!
It's awesome you had interest in softball and baseball! I'm sure you are familiar with the Seattle Mariners. Ichiro WAS a player, but unfortunately went to New York a short while ago.
Good luck in your English endeavors! I know you can do it! I'm looking forward to exchanging more with you over the school year.
Hi Kao! Softball sounds like a lot of fun. My friend in high school was really good at it so I would watch her games a lot. Volunteering is a lot of fun and I hope that you can do it! I did a lot of volunteering this quarter for one of my classes at a nursing home. Good luck with your studies!
