My Family Tradition

     My family doesn't have a special convention. So I intend to introduce a tradition of Japan, at first.
     The beginning of Japan, there is Japanese Mythology that has pray for a lot of phenomena which are beyond human’s imagination. Japan has a peculiar outlook of religion. That is, we can make up for worldly sins and as the same time we must do so. And Japanese Mythology has a lot of god. The top of the god is “Amaterasu Omikami”. But strangely, she is even priest who worships someone. This characteristic made Japan accepts a lot of sense of value. In the past, Buddhism was brought to Japan. It was accepted by Japanese so easily. Buddhism influenced many things. At first there are god, but since then there are also a lot of Hotoke who are the deceased. Hotoke became to mean god, and god became to mean Hotoke. Buddhism brought the thought of Kuu. According to the thought of Kuu, There is god, but in the same time there is not god. That is, “That that is is that that is not is not is that it it is.” Buddhism has nature of philosophy. It was one of the reason that Japan accepted it. It is not only Buddhism but also Christianity that Japan accepted. Especially about Xmas, One of the most pleasant event for Japanese. I also love Xmas. After Xmas. In Japan, Seven days later of Xmas, Japanese has other event called Shogatsu. It is 1st on January. We enjoy it very much that the change of the year triggers. And what is more seven years later of Shogatsu, 7th on January, we eat the rice porridge of seven glass. We eat only the date, so it is very delicious. There are a lot of events in the end or first year. In February, there is one of the important event in Japan that scatter some beans to some demons. This is almost a game. People who is assigned to people chase and throw beans to the other people who is assigned to demons. But in fact, there are a lot of people who throw some beans to each other people without demons. Human is the demon! In japan entrance ceremony holds In April in full blossom. There are hope and uneasiness. This is the first of the year in a sense. In May there is Golden Week. This just means long vacation. Then my families often travel to Tsuwano in Shimane. Tsuwano has beautiful streets and I and my families like the area very much. Since the end of the July, the summer vacation begins. Then I always be lazy because it is very hot! After the summer vacation, school’s events are regularly held to December. If my family has had some ceremonies of religion, I could told my family’s traditional talk. But I am sorry that I hardly talk about my family. My house is surrounded by nature like a waterfall, rice field and so on. I like there. Thank you!
