My university life is fun!
I finally get used to university life recently. There are a lot of difference from living at home. I don't live with my parents now. I live in a dormitory now. I did'n t cook, wash and clean when I was living at home. Because my mother did the whole thing. But I have to do it, because I don't live with my parents. Cooking, washing and cleaning by myself were very difficalt for me at first. However I am carrying out it now. I am enjoying my dormitory life. The dormitory of the University of Shimane is like a share house. My share house member are seven. Mayu, Eri, Mana, Ayaka, Tomono, Miwa and me. They are like my real family now. We share a lot of time. Various things have happened up to now. When hard things happened to me, they helped me. I can not thank you enough. When hard things happened to my share house member, I help the member. We live in a spirit of mutual support. I think that this dormitry life have me grow. It was good for me to get a room in a dormitory. The share house member are indispensable to me. I love them. Because we can not live only one year, we have to start to live by myself. We have to leave our dormitory four month later. It is sad for me to end this dormitory life, however, I spend the other four month that I treasure. I don't have a part-time job, however, I think I want to start to experience socoety. The reason I have had a part-time job is I didn't have any confidence in doing well in my studies and a part-time job. I try to get a qualification of various kinds in college life. For example, bookkeeping, secretary and so on. I study to pass bookkeeping official approval now. I also study English hard, because I want to get good score in TOEIC. Because I guradually get used to university life, I want to start a part-time job. After I end school, I go back a dormitoy or I go library to study. I sometimes go shopping. When I go back a dormitory, I start to cooking with my share house member. It is very interesting. After I finished cooking, I eat the dish with them. After I finished having a dinner, I spend the time freely. For example, I listen to music, watch a TV, Internet shopping and I often talk with my share house member. I often stay at my parent's home on weekends. I stay at my parent's home one for a month. My parent's home is in Matsue. Matsue is a prefectural capital of Shimane. Matsue is two and a half hour's drive from the University of Shimane. I take a trip on the weekends from time to time. I like taking a trip. I went Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Tokyo. There were very nice spot. I want to go again someday.

I would agree that living in a dormitory really makes you grow up fast. Before living in a dorm, I didn't do much cleaning since my mom did everything, but now I have to do everything. Going back home on weekends sounds really nice. I'm from Hawaii, so I only go back home for Christmas and summer. Traveling around Japan also sounds like a lot of fun. Good luck on your studies!
ReplyDeleteLiving in a dormitory sounds like a lot of fun. Although, it does teach you how to be independent because you have to do a lot of things yourself instead of other people. I never lived in a dormitory so I really envy you. I have my own place though so I also do a lot of things myself. Do you take your trips during the weekends? I like taking trips too when I have free time.
ReplyDeleteLiving alone is very strange at first, isn't it? It is hard to do your chores by yourself, but it sounds like you are doing well and having fun, that's good. I am glad you have made friends who you are so close to, I think friends are like family. I want to travel more too, I wish I could go to Japan more. Hope you are doing well.
