Hi :-D My name is Misaki Tanimoto. I’m nineteen years old. I’m  a student of University of Shimane. My hometown is Oda city of Shimane. There is rich nature of  Oda city. For example, beautiful sea. Shimane is famous for fresh fish. Also, excellent mountain.
In winter, we enjoyed winter sports.  Skis is very fun!!  Oda city is famous for the Iwami silver mine. Do you know Iwami silver mine? Iwami silver mine is important building. Iwami silver mine was registered a world heritage in 2007.  There are four people in my family. My father is very kind and dependable. My mother is cute and clever cooking. My brother is shy. Also he likes rock music very much. My hobby is listen to music. My favorite artist is Girl’s Generation.:-)  I’m interested in Korean culture.<3 In spring, I went to concert for TVXQ in Osaka . I had a great time at the concert!! I want to go to concert next year.  Also, I like play a musical instrument. I’m a member of brass band club now. I have continued brass band club for eight years. I play the Horn when I am junior high school students. Horn is similar to the shape of a snail. I like Horn and brass band very much!!<3

    Hi Misaki,
    I enjoyed reading your blog post very much. I have never skied before, but a lot of my friends like to snowboard. Where I am there are many mountains to enjoy recreational winter sports. In high school I used to play a musical instrument too! I was in orchestra and played the Viola. It was nice reading about your background and your lovely city of Oda. Thank you.

    Wow, it's so awesome that you get to live near the sea! Is surfing popular too? Or is it a sport that is mostly done by tourists during the summer? When it comes to current popular music,Gangnam Style by PSY is really, really popular here in the U.S. which is interesting because PSY is a Korean singer and this famous song is in Korean, but somehow it even appeared on SNL (Saturday Night Live), a New York comedy show. I'll attach the video link. I must say it is a bit weird. ^_^ http://www.hulu.com/watch/401518
