My hometown Yasugi

Hello, Today I'll introduce about my hometown.
My hometown is Yasugi in Shimane. Yasugi is famous for Adachi museum. You can see a lt of pictures in Adachi museum. Especially, it famous for Yokoyama Taikan's picture. There is "Muga" of Japan's most famous picture. And there are about one hundred thirty his original pictures in here. Also you can see the most beautiful garden in here. Adachi museum came in first American magazine garden ranking since 2003 to 2010. And it got in a three-satr Michelin. You should go to Adachi museum if you come to Japan.

But my hometown is very countryside. Be careful of access to Adachi museum if you come to Yasugi. At the  end, I'll paste Adachi museum's homepage. Please check it. Thank you for your attention.

  1. Hi Yuta,
Thank you for commenting on my blog earlier today. It is very odd to me that so many people know about my city. I remember when Starbucks and Amazon were very small companies that were just starting to go global. It has been a wonderful experience watching them grow to where they are now.
Your hometown looks very nice. I have been looking at pictures of the art garden at The Adachi Museum ever since you sent me your link. The garden looks absolutely gorgeous. I also noticed that your city's animal is the swan. It totally makes sense because swans are beautiful and so is your hometown!

  2. It's amazing that the Adachi Museum won the garden award for so many years in a row! It puts any of our botanical gardens to shame.;-) Here is Seattle, we have a botanical garden at Volunteer Park, but I have never been there. Perhaps once I go there I can tell you about it. Enough about Seattle's gardens, where can one go in Yasugi to have local cuisine or go buy traveling gifts for family and friends? Later -Guadalupe
