The largest sand glass in the world!!
Hi! My home town is Oda city. I will introduce to Oda city. Oda city is located in the middle of Shimane prefecture. There are many recommend spot in Oda city.
First, The largest sand glass in the world. Do you know sand glass? Sand glass is timed the speed by falling sands. It’s possible to timed the speed of one year by this sand glass!! Also, This spot became the subject of Movies, Drama and Comics. I can see the sand glass from my house:-) Too beautiful view!!


Iwami silver mine
Second, Iwami silver mine. Do you know Iwami silver mine? Iwami silver mine is important buildings in Japan. Iwami silver mine was registered a world heritage in 2007. The old days, Silver was mined for 400 years in this spot.  It was known as representative of Japan mines. I like to walk this spot. Because I can feel the figure of the old Japan. I recommend that you eat Soba in this spot. Soba is famous food in Japan. You can eat delicious Soba here!! Do you know Soba? Have you ever eat Soba? Please eat Soba:-D

    Oda City is a very interesting place. I am very interested by the Sand Glass. Is it fun to sit and watch the Sand Glass move? It seems like it would move very gracefully. Has the Sand Glass been in any movies or shows that you have watched? Which one is your favorite?
    How far underground is the silver mine? It looks pretty, but places deep underground can be scary sometimes. I have tried Soba before and it was very delicious! I would love to try it again.

    Oda City sounds like a very nice place! I've never seen the Sand Glass before, but it sounds really nice! It's especially nice that you can see it from your house! I like soba a lot! I'd love to go there someday and eat soba!
