My Family Tradition

Hello:)

Today, I’d like to tell about my family tradition in this post.
I have four people in my family, father, mother, younger brother and me.
My family is very friendly, I love everyone.

On New Year’s Eve, Japanese usually eat the buckwheat noodles on New Year’s Eve.
But on New Year’s Eve, my family eats the udon on New Year’s Eve.
Do you know the buckwheat noodles or udon on New Year’s Eve?
This is traditional dish in Japan. It’s delicious J
On New Year’s Eve my family eats it every year.
And come to New Year, everyone say “A Happy New year!!” and go to temple.
My family prays for the wellbeing of my family in there.

On New Year, Japanese usually eats Osechi ryouri and Ozouni.
These dishes are traditional dish in Japan.
My family eats Osechi ryouri and miso soup, because my family doesn’t like Ozouni.
On new year, I spend with my family.

How do you spend on New Year?

  1. Your family traditions sound very delicious. :) Do you have a favorite holiday? I usually spend New Years with my friends, because my parens go to bed too early. My friends and I drink sparkling apple juice and stay up until midnight. At midnight, we make a lot of noise to welcome in the new year. It is very fun. :) What else do you do on New Years?

On New Years, I visit temple and talk or watch on TV with my family.
